Woods Hole Science Aquarium
This is the oldest continuously operating research centre in the country, with seals, sea turtles and other cold water animals living on-site. There are several exhibits, behind the scenes area, as well as touch tanks, where visitors can touch lobsters, tautog, quahogs, crabs, spider crabs and starfish. Admission is free and donations are graciously accepted.

This is a highly-respected facility, focused on education and rehabilitation of marine animals such as sea turtles and seals. With two pools, the facility is en route to a complete renovation that will allow them to operate on a larger scale. Educational programs are offered year-round and a visitor's center is open for the summer months. Admission is free.
