This museum features beautifully landscaped gardens with an abundance of Dexter Rhododendrons. American art, history and antique automobiles are some of the museum's exhibits. An operating hand-carved carousel built in 1912 is another spectacular attraction. A multitude of lectures, workshops and activities are offered for families during season. Flax Pond Recreational Area
Located in South Yarmouth, the Flax Pond Recreational Area offers a swimming pond with life guard service, walking trails, a picnic area with BBQ grills, a variety of playing fields and courts, horseshoes and a children's playground. Open from the beginning of May to the end of October.

The Taylor-Bray Farm
The Taylor-Bray Farm was originally settled in 1639 by Richard Taylor and remained in the family for over 250 years. It is now on the Register of Historical Places and is open daily to the public offering picnic tables, woodland walks and views of Black Flats marsh. Seasonal farm events are also listed in the local press.

This beach is located between Waquoit Bay and Vineyard Sound and features views of Katama Bay. A lifeguard is on duty during peak hours during the summer. Activites include canoeing, fishing, sunbathing, hiking and swimming. This park features one mile of white sand beach, a dune boardwalk and restrooms that are accessible from the beach. Interpretive programs are offered during the summer months to help visitors explore the variety of dunes, salt marshes and woodland that make up this park.

Located at the east end of the Cape Cod Canal, Scusset Beach State Reservation is a popular swimming and camping destination. There is also a fishing pier, a 3000-foot breakwater and 1.5 miles of shoreline for salt water angelrs to enjoy. Visitors can also marvel at the volume of ships and boats that pass through the canal from Scusset Beach.
