    Situated at the end of Centre Street in Yarmouth Port, Bass Hole Beach is a popular beach, picnic spot and play area for Cape visitors with children. The beach area offers kid-friendly waves and tidal pools, a quiet picnic area with tables and grills, a playground and a boardwalk. Free parking.

    South Cape Beach State Park

    This beach is located between Waquoit Bay and Vineyard Sound and features views of Katama Bay. A lifeguard is on duty during peak hours during the summer. Activites include canoeing, fishing, sunbathing, hiking and swimming. This park features one mile of white sand beach, a dune boardwalk and restrooms that are accessible from the beach. Interpretive programs are offered during the summer months to help visitors explore the variety of dunes, salt marshes and woodland that make up this park.

    Kalmus Beach
    Located at the end of Ocean Street, this warm water beach is a popular destination for windsurfing. A snack bar, bathroom facilities and a picnic area are available here. Lifeguards are on duty at the beach.

    Monument Beach
    This beach overlooks the Cape Cod Canal and features a wooden raft for swimmers to rest on. This is also a hot spot for windsurfing. The beach has lifeguards on duty and visitors will find a concession stand, volleyball net and bathhouse on site.
