The Cape Cod Theatre Project is an annual project that performs staged readings of new American plays with professional writers, actors and directors during the month of July. Many of the plays developed have gone to productions in New York.

Barnstable Comedy Club
This community theatre is one of the oldest in Cape Cod, with over 80 years worth of renditions of popular plays, comedy and otherwise. Many performers that started there have moved on to national and international stages. The shows bring in a large crowd of locals and tourists.
